Alum spotlight: Brooke Serbin (class of 2023)

For Brooke Serbin, a Class of 2023 University of Dayton alum, her path from college to a public relations agency has been shaped by hands-on experience. Serbin majored in communication and concentrated public relations with minors in psychology and marketing. While at UD, Serbin was involved in Flyer PR as an account executive, Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) as the PR director, and Phi Beta Chi Honors Communication Fraternity as a member. She also received the 2023 Flyer Media Award.
Serbin is now lives Chicago and accepted a new role. Fishman PR, which was voted the #1 PR firm in Franchising in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Inaugural “Top Franchise Suppliers” Ranking, hired Serbin in January 2026 as a content marketing associate.
Executing and optimizing content marketing strategies across multiple client accounts is what Serbin is tasked with. She manages content calendars and leverages advanced tools like HubSpot and SEMrush to drive SEO performance and measurable results. As a lead assist on several accounts, Serbin supports content throughout the media life cycle, collaborating directly with clients and contributing to campaign ideation while tracking key engagement and conversion metrics.
Serbin’s early professional accomplishments reflect the strong foundation built through Flyer PR. Once a Flyer, always a Flyer.
